HOTFIX crush

,
Last june I went to the  2013 Dutch Gymnastics Championships in Rotterdam. I went with the Propatria team (gymnastic club in Zoetermeer). My daughter of 6 years old traint 3 times a week for the gymnastics at the "Proeftuin" team of Propatria. We saw near the entrance a shop selling leotards of the famous GK brand. So we take a look their collection. Wauw.., there are a lot of choices. Many of beautiful leotards were decorated with swarovski crystals. We bought three leotards for her and one short with her name on it made of rhinestuds. When we colleced the short, one of the letters were not perfectly set. They offfer us to go to their shop in Sliedrecht to fix it. Since I'm "oh so crafty" person, I plan to fix it myself. I knew how to apply rhinestuds on a fabric. This experience has started my journey to the hotfix world.

I surf to hotfixonline.nl to order some rhinestuds, ofcourse I saw other interesting stuff. So I order several rhinestuds and rhinestones from the website. By the way I had already some hotfix tools i.e. applicator, pincet, transfer foil, pick-up pencil etc. I bought those thing when my mom visit me around October last year.

I couldn't wait until my order arrive. So when I saw hotfix rhinestuds and rhinestone at a shop called Action, I bought several wheels for me and for my mum in a different sizes and shapes.

Near Action in Rijswijk, I bought two pair cheap sneakers for my daughter? Ofcourse with an idea that I'll pimp those shoes. The results are not bad.....I love it so much. Not only nice results but during the process of applying those studs gives somekind of therapy for me. I've put the studs one by one without a template. This ofcourse gives not really symmetrical design for her left and right shoe.

I pimped her tanktop and my son's polo shirt with a basketbal player design. My next project is to pimp my white shirt. Those studs on my white shirt are not fix yet. If I need some time for myself then I'll do the hotfix again.

See you until next crafty experience of mine.....
